This model from Warmachine was fantastic to paint. Smooth sculpting and crisp detail - actually the hard part was to stop painting and finish the model. I went for a very simple colourscheme of black and gold - no red, but instead I tried to add warmth to the shading of both the gold and the black - the latter being glazed with thinned down red and purple inks. Unlike what I usually do I have not weathered this paintjob at all and the result is a very clean-looking miniature.
Just like my Butcher of Khador my interpretation of this mini is featured in Privateer Press's 2005 Catalog.
